Meet Tim MacManus
In September of 1962, Tim Macmanus went on his first dove hunt with his Dad with a Savage single shot .410. Tim can vividly recall tracking the trail of feathers that lead to his first dove in the tall grass in deep south Texas. Since then, he has been hooked on hunting and the great outdoors.
Tim’s hunting life has taken him on adventures in Texas, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Florida, Wyoming and Saskatchewan here in North America. In 1999, Tim made his first trip to Africa and has been back to the Dark Continent over 15 times visiting South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Tanzania hunting dangerous game, plains game and birds. He has been in every province in South Africa as least once and several provinces multiple times. Further adventures include multiple trips to the United Kingdom since 2010, New Zealand 2014, Australia 2018, Italy 2023 and the Kyrgyz Republic in Central Asia in 2024 . Tim has hunted on all 6 continents where sport hunting is allowed.
Tim is a passionate wingshooter. After many years of dove, duck and upland hunting in the US, he made his first wingshooting trip to Argentina in May 2006 and his first wingshooting trip to South Africa in May 2009. Tim has experienced the incredible sights and sounds of duck, dove, pigeon and partridge hunting in Argentina as well as duck, goose, guinea fowl, francolin, rock pigeon and dove shooting in Africa. He has been to 18 different lodges during his trips to Argentina. Tim has extensive experience traveling to both Africa and Argentina with 20 trips to South Africa and 29 trips to Argentina. He is constantly pursuing more hunting adventures in North America, Argentina and Africa and other destinations as well. With a discerning eye for quality and a passion for excellence, Tim is only booking with outfitters who work as hard to earn their money as you do to earn yours. Most importantly, Tim only sends his guests to places where he would hunt. He accompanies guests on as many Argentina wingshooting trips as he can to insure your trip will be as perfect as possible.
